«Now down to the core of singer Trude Eidtang and guitarist Christian Paulsen, liberal use of looping, triggered samples, heavy effects and backing tracks help to produce an enthralling sound that veers from the haunting and ethereal to rolling bombast.
Drawing on their 7summers7winters and more recent Tainted albums, as well as performing curious, yet effective covers of Annie`s song and Wish You Were Here, it`s all slightly mesmerising.
Eidtang especially impresses – nigh-on pitch perfect and equally effective at the level of a breathy whisper and when belting it out during the climax of both Are You Really Sleeping? and closer Wings Of Wax. This band have immediately been added to the “check out further” list.»
